In November I replaced my Pirelli P-Zero Nero M/S tires on my B5 S4 (stock wheel/tire sizes) with the Yokohamas. I downgraded, so to speak, because I was planning on trading the car in and the Pirellis were wearing thin. I had a change of heart and decided to keep the car.
The Yokohamas wander all over the road - to the point where it feels almost unsafe. After about 4,000 miles, they started to feel a little better, but no where near as good as the Pirellis did. I recently had an alignment done at which point the tires were rotated. They're now behaving as poorly as when they were new.
I understand there is a break in period for tires, and by rotating them, I am going to incur that break in period again, to some degree. However, I didn't notice any break in period with the Pirellis.
Anyone have similar issues with these tires?
TIA - Dave
