Groove detail. Belt has been installed on my 4.2L engine just under a year. 21,000 miles on the vehicle since. Not sure if the cracks are from a end of life belt or when the belt was thrown, did it get compressed between two pulleys cracking all of the "thread" or not. Replacement Gates belt from NAPA is made in Mexico.
