2020 Model Year A5 Coupe is Superbly Stylish

A5 gains more presence

The Audi A5 has always been a terrifically handsome car. With its classic lines and full proportions. For many Audi fans, the most tempting A5 of all, remains the coupe body shape. And Audi has now added some delightful styling upgrades to it. 

Dominate the district in green

As part of the range revision, Audi's A5 coupe is now available in no less than eleven different colors. The most fetching hue is a new introduction, called District Green. Although it might not consider green as the first choice for Audi's large coupe, it looks great in this new color.

Smarter LEDs at the rear

The A5 rear is a blend of geometric shapes and tight lines. The rectangular exhaust ends are finished in a shiny surface treatment, playing on Audi's long association with aluminum as a construction material for its cars. The new A5 coupe also gains sequential LED taillights, with intelligent turn-indicators and a flashing sequence when you close the car.

Martix LEDs up front

At the front, the latest A5 coupe now offers Matrix LED headlights. With 25 individual beam sources, these clever headlights can shape their spread of illumination to not blind other road users, whilst still serving the A5 driver with a huge field of lighting. By being aware of the shape of oncoming cars and traffic, the A5 Matrix LEDs block out a narrow field of their beam profile, as required.

Four- or six-cylinder options

Adding verve to the driving experience with this upgraded A5 is a 2-liter four-cylinder engine. It might sound small, for a luxury coupe, but with the benefit of turbocharging, it boasts 248 horsepower. That is good enough for 0-60mph in only 5.6 seconds, driving all four wheels via Audi's seven-speed S Tronic dual-clutch transmission. If you desire more potency, the S5 should suffice, with its 3-liter turbocharged V6, good for 349hp. The S5 has an eight-speed automatic transmission, which converts the V6 output to a 0-60mph dash of only 4.4 seconds.

Coupe in name, but spacious in nature

Thanks to its large door and the lack of a center roof structure pillar, access to the rear is very easy in an Audi A5. Unlike many other coupes, with cramped seating for second-row passengers, the A5 is a delight. It has a generosity of legroom and headroom, to ensure that backseat passengers enjoy its dynamic driving and cruising abilities, as much as the driver and front-seat passenger.

Digital cabin with great sound quality

The A5 coupe's cabin is typically lavish and for the 2021 model year update, it gains some digital features and a great sound system. A 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster keeps the driver informed of all crucial vehicle functions and MMI navigation is wonderfully 3D in its display and route suggestions.
