1. Con: Fuel Economy

When considering buying the Audi A4 Quattro, fuel consumption comes to mind. Even though the A4 gets a great gas mileage of 27 MPG of combine city and highway driving, the Quattro gets slightly less than that. If you decide to go with the Quattro, expect one MPG less than what you would get with the regular A4.

2. Pro: Handling

When it comes to handling, nothing beats the AWD that the Quattro is equipped with. Having all four wheels powered allow the Audi to gain far more traction on the road, which makes you feel extremely comfortable around corners at higher speeds.

3. Con: Weight

To provide power to both the front and rear wheels, Audi had to manufacture and add different components to your transmission and engine, which even though you don't see them, they still add weight to your Audi. The Quattro could be mildly slower than the regular Audi, due to the extra weight it has to carry.

4. Con: Tires

In most cars, you can get away with replacing two tires at a time, as the front tires tend to wear much faster than the rear ones; however, since the Audi A4 Quattro is a full-time all-wheel drive, you have to replace all four tires at the same time, every time, which adds to the maintenance cost.

5. Pro: Fun

Although the Audi A4 Quattro is slightly heavier in weight, it is still far more fun to drive. The all-wheel drive system makes this vehicle's response extremely quick, not to mention not needing to worry about turns, skidding, or any road conditions. If you want an Audi that accelerates quickly without spinning out, the Quattro will do just that.
