1. No Gas Guzzler

You'll have a tough time remembering how to operate one of these thingies. The TDI version of the A6 Ultra model is a bit on the stingy side when it comes to time spent at the fuel pumps.

2. Surprising Performance

The A4 3.0 L TDI version delivers a respectable 0-60 in just over 6 seconds. That's not too shabby for a diesel engine.

3. Silence is Golden

The A4 TDI 218 is one silent engine, and that is by a considerable margin. Even when mashing the gas, the engine noise is barely perceptible in the cabin. If a quiet, comfortable ride is your thing, the A4 TDI is your ride.

4. Adaptive Comfort Option

The A4 TDI offers an adaptive comfort option which allows you to switch the suspension setup with just a push of a button. You can make the ride smooth as silk or a little firmer for those twisties when you want to feel like you are in a sports car. The road and engine noise is still barely perceptible, making this a very desirable option to throw down.

5. Lighter Engine

Perhaps weight isn't a big deal in your book, but for some, if may be a very good to know that the A6 3.0 L TDI engine is an impressive 11% lighter than its gasoline powered brother. This amounts to about 55 pounds less weight than the gasoline version. That's an easy diet plan to stick with.
