ABT Boosts More Power from the RS3

Three letters that mean a lot

ABT has been subtle about its RS3 upgrades. The car's appearance is left mostly unaltered, with the bits that make a difference mostly hidden from view. The ABT RS3 rolls 20-inch alloy wheels and you can specify larger brakes. ABT is also offering a coil-over suspension kit, for those RS3 owners who wish to meticulously tune their car's ride and handling balance.

More ponies equals better performance

Where ABT's technicians have spent most of their effort with this RS3, is the engine. They have managed to boost the 2.5-liter five-cylinder engine to 464hp. There is also 398 lb-ft of torque. The additional 70hp enables this RS3 to run 0-60mph in under four seconds and it will power to a top speed of 177mph.

Five stars for a unique sound

Audi has always been renowned for the sound signature of its five-cylinder engines. With the ABT power boost and reworked engine management electronics, you can expect an even more rewarding five-cylinder burble with each upshift.
