ABT Continues on Tear with 464 HP RS3 Sportback

Hey there, good looking

The performance mongers over at ABT have done it again with this maddening creation of four-banger proportions. This RS3 has gotten a healthy dose of power from the ABT Power S pack and now makes 464 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque.

We need answers

ABT fitted the car with their own ECU which bumps the power on tap up but the company has not released the new numbers on what a 0-62 mph time is. However, we do know that the stock RS3 has a time of 4.1 seconds so the ABT version has be sub 4 seconds.

What goes up...

Common sense would denote that if you bump the power up there should also be an upgrade in the stopping department also. So, ABT has done the responsible thing and added 380mm discs behind the wheels to bring things back under control in a hurry.

A nice aggressive stance

For handling characteristics, ABT improved the cornering prowess thanks to new suspension springs, anti-roll bars and damper setup with the help of KW.

One hot Sportback

On the exterior, there are the updates of a new front lip, an altered grille, and a rear diffuser. Speaking of the lower rear there is also a new matte black exhaust with double 102mm tips that ABT says provide  “brilliant sound and looks.”
