ABT Infuses Audi SQ7 With a 510HP Boost
Audi's SQ7 is certainly no slouch, but that doesn't mean ABT can't up the ante significantly.
More Power
It's not like any modern Audi lacks for power in any regard, but for some folks (i.e. us), it's just never enough. Thankfully, there are companies like ABT that're happy to give us that more that we're craving. That now includes the diesel-powered SQ7, a vehicle that already produces an impressive 435 hp and a stump-pulling 664 lb-ft of torque. But as with any factory-tuned engine, there's much more power to unlock with a little bit of trickery.

In fact, all it took to achieve 510 hp from the SQ7 was an ABT Engine Control Unit. And presto - 75 more horsepower is now at your disposal. Even more impressive was the gain ABT found in the torque department. There, they managed to crank things up to 715 lb-ft, which is pretty insane for a humble luxury SUV.

Corner Carver
"The engine and platform have plenty in reserve, providing both impressive power and excellent driveability," explained CEO Hans-Jürgen Abt. Of course, ABT doesn't just throw some power at the SQ7 and call it a day. With suspension tuning on top of a sports air suspension and progressive steering, the Audi is also quite capable of carving up some corners, too.

Sounds Great
On the inside, audiophiles will also appreciate ABT's Sound Control upgrade, which is available for models with the factory-fitted active sound system, which the brand says "creates a charismatic individual vehicle sound." The ABT SQ7 also looks great on the outside, thanks to a set of attractive and unique 22-inch wheels.

Going Wide
If all of that isn't quite enough for you, you'll also be happy to know that ABT is in the process of developing a widebody kit for the SQ7. That way, you can truly stand out from the crowd in every way. That cool piece of kit will be available at some point this year, and we imagine that it's going to add some seriously aggressive looks to an already great-looking SUV.

Long Term Relationship
None of this really comes as a surprise when you consider the fact that ABT has enjoyed a relationship with Audi and VW since nearly the beginning. They've been cranking out tuned versions of their models for a long time now, and by the looks of this SQ7, that doesn't figure to stop anytime soon, either.
