2. The Venerable Porsche 911 GT3
If you like to burn money as fast as you spin your wheels, then go for the Porsche 911 GT3. For only $10,000 more, you get about 50 less horsies under the hood; however, the Porsche does come off the line a bit quicker. In the end, the R8 will barely pass the Porsche in top end. So if wining the race off the line is more important than finishing first, here's a good place to give up $10,000 more of your hard earned bucks.

4. BMW i8
If you want to make Batman blush, pull up next to his Batmobile in the BMW i8. This awesome looking ride is quite a bit less than the price tag on the R8, and while performance is a bit less at 357 horsepower on this hybrid, the gas mileage is an incredible 38 mpg. You may be a little slower off the line at 0-60 in 4.0 seconds, you will be sure to turn a bit more heads with this impressive styling and have a fatter wallet than the competition.
