Hot Pink Audi R8 Gets Gnarly Lamborghini-Inspired Body Kit
The Audi R8 is transformed via the extensive body kit that gives it Lamborghini vibes.
Audacious Design
A unique Audi R8 in Malaysia has caught attention due to its custom body kit not to mention the bright pink color. This combo adds a touch of head-turning extravagance. The kit, exclusively designed by a Malaysian shop called Puzzle Bodykits, completely transforms the appearance of the first-generation R8. Only a few elements, such as the greenhouse, doors, mirrors, and fuel cap, remain unchanged from the original model, while the rest of the body panels are custom-made.
Progressive Appearance
The front of the modified R8 features a distinctive bumper with large intakes, a prominent splitter, headlight extensions, and wide vented fenders, giving it a modified second-generation R8 appearance. The profile of the car has also been altered, replacing the signature blades with more conventional side intakes. Additionally, the rear fenders have integrated inlets and large fins. The car sits on aftermarket alloy wheels painted in white and has an ultra-low stance thanks to an air suspension system.
Lambo-Like Rear
The most eye-catching aspect of the custom Audi R8 is its tail, which bears a strong resemblance to Lamborghini designs. The round tailpipes have been repositioned higher, similar to the Huracan STO, and the wing draws inspiration from the Huracan Tecnica. Furthermore, the lower part of the tail is adorned with a massive diffuser reminiscent of the Sian and Centenario limited-production models.
So Pink
The car's exterior is completed with a pink paint finish specially ordered from the Malaysian paint shop KarMing Spray. The final detailing, including carbon accents on black-painted panels and custom black stickers, was done by Advanced Pro Detailer.
Unaltered Power
Despite the extensive modifications to the exterior, the underlying mechanics of the vehicle remain unchanged. The Audi R8 retains its V8 powerplant, which was shared with the Lamborghini Gallardo. The 4.2-liter TFSI engine produces either 414 horsepower in the pre-facelifted version or 424 horsepower following the mid-lifecycle update.

While the highly customized Audi R8 may not appeal to all fans of the model, its striking appearance guarantees it will turn heads on the streets of Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia.
