Ice Race Edition

Audi has unveiled a limited-edition version of its RS e-tron GT, known as the "Ice Race Edition," in commemoration of the 40th anniversary of Audi Sport. This special edition, produced in a limited run of 99 units for European customers, showcases the extensive customization options offered by Audi's exclusive division.

Striking Exterior

The RS e-tron GT Ice Race Edition boasts a striking exterior design that closely resembles the concept introduced in May 2023. It features a Florett silver metallic finish with a black carbon roof, white emblems, and black 21-inch wheels. The standout feature is the foil wrap covering the entire body, creating "targeted transparencies" that mimic the glistening appearance of snow crystals and ice lakes. The addition of purple accents around the grille draws inspiration from ski goggles.

Elegant Interior

Inside the Ice Race Edition, Audi's designers have incorporated diamond silver leather inserts on the seats, which contrast with the black leather upholstery and purple stitching. The leather-wrapped steering wheel features an Alcantara finish and a diamond silver mark on the top, while special RS logos adorn the floor mats.

Unchanged Powertrain

The RS e-tron GT Ice Race Edition retains the same powertrain as the standard RS e-tron GT. It's equipped with dual electric motors producing a combined 637 horsepower, drawing energy from a 93.4 kWh battery pack.

Audi's History of Customization

Audi has a long history of offering customization options to its customers. Dating back to 1995, the company has provided personalized features such as refrigerated compartments, minibars, VHS players, and TV monitors. Today, Audi continues to expand its customization offerings, including an extended color palette, blacked-out emblems, and a range of interior materials and finishes.

The Future of Audi Customization

Looking ahead, Audi plans to offer "edition-specific" background images for its MMI infotainment system, along with new ambient lighting options. As personalized features become increasingly popular among buyers, Audi aims to promote the services of its "creative think tank" to a broader audience, ensuring that customers can truly make their Audi vehicles their own.
