Make & model of car the product was used on: 1998 Audi A4 2.8 Quattro

Superb forward grip on wet roads, dry roads, ice, slime and deep snow. Superb tracking. I was uncedrtain about cornering and stopping power until I attended Tim O'Neil's Winter DRiving School in Franconia, New Hampshire. One of the NE Quattro Club instructors, driving the car on the skid pad (ice, slush, cold, wet clay) commented, "You on studded tires?" He'd been driving most or all of the other Quattro's in attendance, many on NRW snow tires, which I found excellent on a previously owned Volvo 760 Turbo. I learned over two days that the cornering problem was mine, not the Acrtic Alpins'. Mostly, it was my incomprehension of how to handle the significant understeer inherent in Quattro, my first AWD. The Acrtic Alpins are also unusually quiet on dry and wet roads.
