Right from the start, I wanted 18" wheels to go w/ the car, and I wanted at least an 8" wide wheel w/ an aggressive offset so the wheels will look like its been pushed out to the corners. I am very glad to get this combo of 18x8 and a offset of 35(very important!!) The wheels now line up flush with the fender line, all I have to do is lowered it to get a hunkered down look.

Then there's the tires, I wanted 235/40/18s, but TireRack said it might scrape when I lower the car or have a full load. So I took the 225/40/18s, but immediately started to regret this decision because the wheels look a little wide for the tires. The rim protector on the tires doesn't protect the wheel, due to the fact the wheel is a little wide. Watch out for curbs!!! I think 7.5" wide wheels will be just fine. However, in the end I will still chose my current setup, because I don't want any scraping later on. And the car looks very aggresive, but just need to be lowered, as of now it looks like the A6 SUV.

As for the tires these babies kick butt in the rain even in floods!!! In the dry they are as good as the p-zeros in my opinion. After 2000 miles, the only down side is with some slight tire/road noise, otherwise, factor in the reasonable price, this is a really nice tire.
