I am extremely disappointed with these tires. In under 4000 miles, I have experienced two separate tire failures. In both instances, while washing my car I noticed a bulge in the sidewall of the tire. The first time, Bridgestone said that I "must have hit something in the road." Although I know I did not, I just wanted it fixed so I paid half the price for a new tire. The second time (a month later) they said that since the roads in New york are "rough", the low profile tires are prone to damage. I thought that low profile tires cost so much because the sidewalls have to be reinforced to prevent failure or damage. The manufacturer insists that there is no defect or problem with the tires, and that this will happen with any low profile tire. That's amazing since it has not happened to anyone else I know with low profile tires. I guess I can only drive my car on perfectly smooth pavement. I suggest that all other S4 owners check the condition of your tires on a regular basis if you drive on any roads that are less than perfect.
