First step post wheel removal is to gently remove the pad wear sensor, I always recommend using brake clean to first clean off the mounting point. Then just simply slowly rock by hand back and forth until it pops free, it has a removal clip that retains the sensor to the pads. Don't loose them. Note the damping weights on the pads for the next step....
